HK Full Size SlantPro Straight Eight Night Sight Set - Heinie

This sight set is for the HK Full Size Pistol and does not require any modifications to the slide. It is a Heinie SlantPro design and has Heinie's Straight Eight night sight configuration. The Straight Eight configuration is one tritium dot in the front and one tritium dot in the rear that aligns vertically for fast acquisition in low-light situations.

"Decent sights, but wish I went with something else."

Comments and Suggestions: I installed these on my USP 45. The sights required a good amount of fitting, both to the front and rear sight. The rear sight had too much of a light gap between the "tails" of the sight and the top of the slide. Had to file the bottom of the dovetail to bring this clearance down. Also had to file the front surface of the dovetail a good amount to achieve a proper fit before pushing them in with my sight pusher. The front sight had the exact opposite problem. Comments and Suggestions: Best sights i have seen. grooves significantly reduce glare and resist holster shine. I actually like the two dot tritium better than the three little different at first but good. And most importantly sights correct point of aim!!! 6 o clock hold at 25 yds without bulky target sights. Sights are also somewhat rounded for drawing/carrying.

Comments and Suggestions: These sights are not drop-in's. They will require some fitting from a gunsmith or if you have some patience and good set jeweler's files you can fit them yourself. Once the sights are set into your firearm aiming down the sights for me felt natural with both eyes open. These Heinie sights are a must on your h&k

Comments and Suggestions: Excellent product. You get a fixed sight with 6 o clock hold!! No more covering target. My tactical was perfect elevation @25 yards(200gn handloads,and 230 factory). Extended sight radius, Serrated front and rear blades make a more defined sight pic and i expect will not develop common glare after holster wears off coating on top of sights. Edges are rounded for draw. I like Tritium two dot better than my previous 3 dot.

Comments and Suggestions: HK - Parts, Thanks for the GREAT customer service! Ordered at 3pm and shipped (over nighted) on the same day! Thanks again! Not sure that the rear sight fit correctly on my full size USP. There is a gap between the slide and the rear sight. It is my first time using the new sights.
