The MFI mount is the best there is and HKPARTS endorses and encourages the uses of this mount on any HK out there. If you want the best this is it. Made Specifically for LIVE WEAPONS. In other words this is NOT cheap airsoft parts made of questionable pot metal in foreign factories by Chinese knock off companies. MFI is the GENUINE ARTICLE / REAL DEAL that others copy from. This is the lowest profile mount available on the market. Designed to mount either Red Dots / Aim Points/ Eotechs or any Conventional optic. This is By far the Most Cost Effective mount WITHOUT Sacrificing Quality HK Scope Mount on the market. Note that the attachment mechanism is NOT a quick release style as found on the original HK mounts. We thought about using some sort of quick release but, as we have heard that the Original HK Mount in a tactical situation has been known to un-lock if you accidentally hit that paddle lever. It does take a little more time to mount these (2-3 minutes) but, once they are in place they will never accidentally un-lock. Not even a hammer will jar our mount from it's zero. This HK mount is intended to install and remain there for life! There is NO reason to remove the mount as you can still use your iron sights as the mount is LOW enough to clear the full view of the factory sights. Additionally we made these with the LOWEST PROFILE possible so that they do NOT interfere with the open / iron sites when a scope is not mounted. A customer can have the ability to see through / under the scope (like the HK High Mount) if they just use medium to high profile scope rings with see through apertures. These were specifically designed to accommodate Eotech, Aim Points and other Red Dot Sites. Lastly: 100% Picatinny / Mil. Spec. 1913 Correct. Meaning that your expensive Throw Lever / Quick Release / Scope Rail Mount will lock 100% the way it was intended. We have seen the influx of hundreds foreign made mounts, rings, risers, rails etc. that claim to be throw lever compatible many are not. Ours is 100% COMPATIBLE!
Please Note: HK G3 & HK 91's with HK Ejection Port Buffers or any device that rolls over the top of the receiver in the same location as where the mount fits be used in tandem with the MFI mount my or not fit in conjunction with each other. The HK G3 & HK 91 port buffer can be added in most cases if you do not use the forward set screw (optional anyways).The MFI Low Profile mount lays flat on top of the receiver with near ZERO clearance. We also now have the exclusive on the MFI low profile scope mount so order the real deal and not be ripped on on inferior products. Do NOT be fooled by the Chinese Airsoft knockoffs such as the UTG products some other vendors offer.
