I too have been burned by buying the cheaper outfitted aftermarket products and will tell you that this is specifically made for this weapon. No play and fits perfect as it should. I added rail covers which completed the weapon. I couldn't be happier.

I did expect it to fit more like the original front grip, considering it was specified for this weapon but don't let that be a turn off,it still has clean lines and fits tight when using the screw bolt that comes with it! I've point a mounted bipod on it and it looks great! Price is awesome too!

Comments and Suggestions: I bought the HK mp5 .22 as a cheap gun to shoot, but found that it also worked well for small varmints. Living on a farm I'm out at night alot and decided a light would be a good addition to the 22. This rail is well made, has a good look and a very secure fit. The only thing I didn't care for was the gap between the barrel and the rails but that was easily fixed by adding rail covers.
