"HK P2000 TRIGGER PULL"

Jeff Wentz on 1/6/2014 12:55:23 PM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: I bought an HK P2000 DAO about 5 years ago. After firing it the first time I hated the trigger pull. I put the gun away and continued to carry my SIG 228. Recently I bought a light trigger return spring and a firing pin block spring. The trigger pull went from 8.5 lbs. to 5.5 lbs. A drastic difference. Thank you HK Parts for providing the parts at a fair price and an explanation on application of the parts.

"Can be a little tricky to install"

Drew P on 9/9/2013 5:03:16 PM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: I am happy with the results after installing this trigger return spring in conjunction with the firing pin block spring but installing this spring was difficult. The legs of this spring are in a little different position that the factory spring. The factory spring, more or less, has a drop in fit to it because of the leg position. This 'light' spring took some real work to get placed correctly because it must be partially compressed to get the legs to seat in the right position. I am very happy ... More details

"Terrific upgrade."

Jeremy Johnson on 9/3/2013 4:10:36 PM

Comments and Suggestions: In-conjunction with the light firing pin block spring the SA pull is unbelievably light! I do wish it would have done more for the DA pull, though I don't think you'll be able to light the DA much more until they come out with a light Hammer spring.

"Works Well"

Gregory Tymn on 6/27/2013 11:13:31 AM

Comments and Suggestions: Measured on a digital scale, this part (along with the light firing pin block spring) lowered trigger pull from 8.6 pounds to 5.1 pounds. LEM triggers are fantastic!

Comments and Suggestions: Part fit well, shipped fast, and was exactly what I needed thanks to HK Parts customer service. Wish it came with directions on how to install but a little searching on the Internet and you can find out how to do just about anything.

"Improved SA take-up"

Timothy Langan on 6/12/2013 8:44:13 AM

Comments and Suggestions: I installed the light trigger return spring on my USP 9mm variant 1. The reset is still strong, but single action take up is easier and more comfortable. It's also easier to install than the standard trigger return spring.

"Light lem spring"

Comments and Suggestions: Super easy to install and great result with trigger got 4 to 5 pound pull now awsome.

"Use forceps"

Gregory Tymn on 2/26/2013 7:09:43 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: I used medical forceps to install the spring. My needlenose were a little too large and the spring requires loading. I was able to lock the spring in the proper position in the clamps and install was a cinch. Trigger pull now at 5.3 pounds.

"Great upgrade for v2 lem"

kevin cribbs on 12/27/2012 9:33:37 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: I used this on a p2000 v2, The install was time consuming. I probably could have built 3 AR's in the time it took me to put this spring in. Most likely because I have never worked with the p2000 But it was well worth it. The trigger pull is amazing now. This is a must have for V2 LEM owners. GET IT!

Comments and Suggestions: I've converted four of my Heckler and Koch handguns to LEM Light using the New Style Light Firing Pin Block Spring and Light Trigger Return Spring from HKParts. All the guns came out perfect with no lazy reset. I highly recommend these parts and HKParts.

"Light Trigger Return Spring"

RAYMOND MORAN on 9/26/2012 11:59:13 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: This is the LEM light spring. It is slightly heavier than the stock DA/SA spring and makes for a nicer reset. It was easy to seat by inserting the trigger pin half way, pulling down on the right side of the trigger and using a small screwdriver to push the bottom leg behind the hammer. Then insert the trigger pin fully.

"Spring Updates for HK P2000SK 9mm"

Robert Morse on 9/20/2012 11:14:39 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: My wife thought the trigger force on her HK P2000SK 9mm, was a bit strong, so I replaced the return spring and firing pin block spring with great results. She's happier with her pistol and her accuracy has improved considerably. The FPB spring is trivial to replace. The return spring is more difficult to get the new spring positioned correctly while inserting the trigger axle pin. Be sure to have a long, thin pair of needle nose, and 1 1/16" punch before performing this operation and be patient!... More details

Comments and Suggestions: I think these are the same springs found in the match trigger kit and help with the trigger pull regardless. Thanks, CWO4 USMC Ret

"Light LEM"

John Hoban on 8/15/2012 9:00:05 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: TRS and Firing Pin Block spring combination for light LEM. Trigger pull so much better. Held gun in left hand pressing down on firm surface with index finger pushing forward on back of trigger. Push spring into place with long thin needle nose pliers. Wife slid in punch to hold spring in place. Inserted trigger axle making sure to capture the spring as punch is pushed back out. Make sure the legs of the spring are in their slots. (look at original before you remove it.) Takes a couple tries but ... More details

"Part 1 of your tigger upgrade (Must have)"

Michael Yanez on 8/8/2012 11:37:55 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: This is an amazing upgrade for any HK pistol. I upgraded my HK P2000sk with a new light trigger spring, Firing Pin block spring, Extended Mag release and all new roll pins. The process for fitting the new trigger sping is very tricky and take a lot of patients. Get a pair of very good neeedle nose pliers. The pliers need to be long thin from tip to hinge. The area is small and difficult to get regular pliars in the small space. Get the bottom leg in position first at an angle and then use the pl... More details

"Light LEM return spring"

mterk on 7/20/2012 7:09:04 PM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: Worked like a champ with the pin block spring. Even did my pops gun at the same time. In this case, doing a trigger job with drop in parts, was no stress. Well, until I dropped one into the carpet, but even then, nothing brings a family together like crawling around like idiots! Thanks HK parts!

"Light Trigger Return Spring"

Hector Sandoval on 6/17/2012 12:38:29 PM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: I used it to lighten my P2000sk LEM trigger. I can definitely feel the the difference. A little tricky to install but just takes more patience than anything. Look at the old one before removing. Take note of where the spring legs are.

"Much better trigger!"

Frederic Medina on 6/13/2012 12:41:37 PM

Comments and Suggestions: Lets face it, HK offers VERY accurate, reliable and durable pistols ...but not always the best trigger pull right out of the box. This spring helps bring their trigger into high performance specs!

"P2000 Light TriggerReturn Spring"

Jeffrey Watkins on 6/9/2012 8:13:50 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: Just replaced the trigger rebound spring in my 40 cal P2000 with a light trigger return spring from HKParts.net. As advertised, it has a noticeably lighter pull, and is a great improvement to my HK. HKParts has a great selection of parts and the shipping was very fast! I hope my HK doesn't break again, but if it does, I will go to HKParts first! Thanks for a great product and fast service!

"an excellent upgrade"

Jonathan Wadley on 5/7/2012 9:32:33 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: If you've got an LEM gun with the heavier trigger pull, this and the lighter firing pin block spring are all you need to basically cut the pull in half. As others have said getting this spring to seat into it's position is a little tricky but if I can do it, anyone can. Just be patient with it and have a good pair of needle nose pliers on hand. Also, be sure to look at how the old one is seated before you remove it, then you'll know how the new one is supposed to go.

"Light TRS Spring - Lighten your pull"

Flip7 on 4/30/2012 10:26:03 AM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: This is the spring I used to convert my P2000 and P30 LEM into 'light LEM'. It is a great part and well worth the small cost. It is easy to take the old one out and the change is completely reversible. Some people like changing out the other springs buy leaving this one for two reasons: first, they prefer a stronger more positive trigger reset fell , and second they have heard (rightly so) that this is a pain in the ass to install. I agree that it is difficult to install but so worth the effort ... More details

"Great Improvement"

Terry Hester on 4/14/2012 10:43:14 PM

Comments and Suggestions: The light trigger return spring along with the new style firing pin block spring made the LEM trigger much better and more in line with a SA pull (4.5 LBS). HKPARTS.NET was was very fast processing the order and shipping it out.

"Best upgrade for the P30 period!"

C. Channel on 3/14/2012 4:16:32 PM

Stars Rating:

Comments and Suggestions: If you own the P30 this spring along with the light firing pin block spring will make all the difference in the world and will make your P30 a joy to shoot. I read a post that said that these were difficult to install and if you do not have the patience or basic understanding of how the spring works that could be the case. In y experience though this is the cheapest place to find these springs as no one has them in stock and available other than HK parts. Keep up the good work. I am buying the H... More details

Comments and Suggestions: I had the factory heavy LEM trigger on my HK45C, and hated the 8+ lbs it required to pull the second stage of the trigger. It threw my grouping low to the left with every shot. I ordered this spring along with the TRS swapped them out now my group is back on point! It breaks right about 4.2-4.5 lbs every time now and the reset is shorter for quicker follow up shots. Thanks Adam for another great product! Shipping was lightning fast as always. Comments and Suggestions: This is a tricky spring to replace. Need good light and good needle nose pliers. My tip grab spring long ways not by the sides. This is so u can compress the forward spine with downward pressure. This will allow u to lock the rear spine. Good luck. Excellent results when done.
