Installing the HK Mark 23 fake suppressor

Installation instructions are provided with each unit. Also includes peel washers.

Ammunition (45 ACP) tested with the Mark 23 Fake Suppressor

This fake suppressor has been tested with the following ammunition types. All were succesful and did not impede the proper cycling of the Mark 23 pistol.

  • Speer Gold Dot 45 200 grain GDHP +p acp
  • Wolf 45 230 grain copper FMJ (standard)
  • Remington Golden Saber government spec 230 grain brass jacket hollow point
  • Hornady Tap 45 ACP 200 grain
  • Corben 45 ACP 210 grain
  • Remington UMC government spec 230 grain 45 ACP

Comments and Suggestions: The MFI suppressor is icing on my Mark 23. The finish and the markings are as authentic as with the real thing. For those of you that want that "operator" look minus the cost and paperwork of the real thing, the MFI is the way to go. PS - Outstanding service from HKParts does not hurt either !
