I have once again never heard of nor seen a USP Firing Pin Spring fail. Yet, since my weapon was made in 1998 and saw service before I purchased it, I'll replace this part when I receive my new-style Firing Pin, Firing Pin Block and Spring to maintain drop safety. You can never have too safe of a weapon, as long as you don't interfere with its use. Therefore, for this price, I'll replace this part every decade or so for good Preventative Maintenance, even though it's almost certainly unnecessary... More details
